what is the weight-treat consumption ratio for dog treats
(example - a 50lb dog eats 5 lbs of treats per month) that isn’t actually correct, i don’t know what it is, that’s why i’m asking.
It depends on how often you give treats. Don’t give treats too often since it’s really just extra calories and can cause weight gain if given too often.
I only give treats once we get back from our final walk of the day (1 treat per dog) so the box of treats lasts about a month.
depends on how big the dog is and what kind of treats they are (some are not good in large quantities, some are small, some are bigger etc…)
you will just have to read the back of the packet.
It really depends on the treat and how often you use them. Most of the time it will vary from month to month. I give my son a snack every day when he wakes up from his nap and the dog then gets a “cookie” like everyone else has. We also use treats when taking the dog on car rides because they can help him calm down in the car. If you use them for training it can be VERY different on how many your dog will eat.
I know for me I buy and bag and then I cut them. Most are too big anyways - and you can stretch it out and the dogs still loves it and doesn’t know the difference.
A small bag can last me 2-3 weeks but it also completely depends on how often you give them.
Difficult question to answer as there are so many variables.

Totally depends on the treats you give.
