Have you eaten dog treats or food before? and Why do chickens literally try to kill my dog?

I have eaten dog treats and rat treats before. They are surprisingly good. Especially rat treats like yogies and chocolate covered pine apple bits. Dog food tastes really dry and stale. When was your first time eating animal food? When I went to my grandparents house(they have a little farm). She asked me if I wanted to feed the chickens and I said yes. At first my dog was scared of the chickens but when he saw the food he ran towards me but then the chickened swarmed and chased him. Why did they do that? They didnt mind the cat and my grandparents dog.

They are not really for human consumption. Those are the meat that’s not good enough for the hotdogs.

My dog’s treats smell good but I haven’t tasted one yet.

I have tried the occasional dog treat out of curiosity, but I don’t eat them like a snack.
The chickens don’t like animal strangers, and so they wanted him to leave. They are used to your grandparent’s pets, they live with them.

No sorry.. I stick to people food.. Dogs eat dog food.. Chickens eat chicken food.. Your Granny’s chickens didn’t like your dog cause they weren’t used to him, didn’t know what he might do, didn’t trust him.

I was a little little little kid (maybe four years old) when i ate some of my old dogs milkbones treats. Now that i know what’s in them, i want to be sick from years ago…LOL i havent had one since i was like 6-7. BUT there was/is one exception, the Yoggie’s vanilla treats for dogs. I gave them to my one friend for xmas and he loved them. (HE asked me to get that fro him, so i did.) his wife wasn’t very happy but, w/e…
the chickens might have felt threatened, or that he was going to take their food. IDK though, but its my guess.

yea milkbones actually taste pretty good…nothing else though.
