Hi: Good treats for your dog:

I looked at the list and the most important thing to remember is Quality and Made in the USA.
Natural is also very helpful. The second item listed seems ok with the ingredients... but, I am concerned about her choking.
I would go with a nylebone product - here is the web site and I know they sell them all over the place. Very good product for your little one.

They have chews that are edible and non edible.

Also, remember Mother Hubbard is a good Holistic brand of dog treats. Dog food should be free of junk fillers such as corns. A good brand of dog food and treats is Innova Evo or Wellness formula, oh, Solid Gold is good , too.

As for a Vitamin- YOUR little one should take a good wafer treat like NuVET Plus - here is the site: Only sold thru groomers or VET offices. ( and breeders, too)

Good luck - Let me know if you need any help when changing foods over. YOU should introduce a new food slowly.

Have a Great Day!!!

I know that they aren't good for my dog but my dogs used to love greenies. Now I give them Chicken Soup for the Pet Lover's Soul Puppy Treat, Chicken Soup for the Pet Lover's Soul
Salmon, Oatmeal & Rice Dog Treats, and
Chicken Soup for the Pet Lover's Soul Duck, Oatmeal & Rice Dog Treats.

But out of those I would do Kongs

Want to really spoil your dog and be healthy?

Buy chicken livers from the grocery store and powdered garlic. Cook the chicken livers in water (on the stove) till mostly done. Drain and transfer to a baking sheet. Sprinkle with the powdered garlic and bake in the oven at about 300 for 20 to 30 minutes, enough to dry the livers. Cool. Cut into small cubes. Store in the refrigerator.

Sometimes the most ordinary everyday thing is better than "official" doggie treats. It depends on what your dog likes. Mine is nuts (literally) over unsalted, roasted peanuts. Regular doggie treats don't do it for her. Leftover "fake" bacon, she digs that.

Get denta chews as dogs love them and they keep your dogs teeth clean and stop them from rotting.

These are diet dog treats and food and they are great to keep your dog nice and healthy.

as long as it's not pedigree anything.
look at ingredients. i feed wheat free food and treats. i have mostly big dogs and they get WELLNESS Wellbars. but the little dogs would have a tough time with them
my little terrier x gets Buddy Biscuits.

Stay away from the Pedigree treats and Ziggies, they're junk food (Kongs are great, but stuff them with Peanut Butter and freeze them).

If you want healthy treats, try Newman's Own or Blue Dog Bakery (In the "Organic" isle at your Supermarket) or Buddy Biscuits available at a Feed Store.

You can also give him pieces of cut up baby carrots

I don't even need to look at them. The only treats I'd trust from Petco are probably the Old Mother Hubbard treats. I recommend looking into the possibility that you have a non-chain pet store in your area.

A few I like to buy for my dogs are:
Zuke's Mini Naturals
Wellness Rewards
