My dog has a toy fish and whenever she puts it in her mouth she starts crying and wagging her tail. Is this normal?

It means she wants to play and she’s trying to get attention.

sure it’s normal, she is probably just excited and wants you to play with her…try to grab it and play tug of war, or throw it for her.

Yes I got a pup that does that,especially with treats. She just wants to bury it somewhere she thinks is safe,like under cushions or behind the door. You may still see the toy but psycologically she’s hidden it

If it is female it might use that toy as if it was her puppy.
Or it could mean that that dog is bored and it wants to play.
