My dog’s favorite toy in the world is a figure-eight rope tuggy with a mini basketball strung on the rope at one end (or some other kind–they’re all the same toy with different colors and decoration). She loves them. Unfortunately, they have the nasty habit of getting stuck in trees. We used to buy them at Meijer, the midwestern grocery chain, but I haven’t seen any the last few times I went.
I’ve visited two different locations, two other pet stores, and Meijer’s website, but nobody has quite what I’m looking for. Either the ball is soft rubber, which she’ll devour, or the toy is too small for her (she’s on the small side of medium, 23 pounds and sixteen inches tall at the shoulder), or the toy is just a ball on a rope with a handle at one end, or the figure-eight rope tuggy doesn’t have a ball.
All I’m looking for is a figure-eight tugger toy that has what’s pretty much a kids’ miniature ball on one side of it. Does anyone know where I could find something like that?

Try Drs Foster and Smith or Planet Dog. Both have great toys. You may find something like that there. Just search for those names online and you’ll find their websites.

Try ebay - whenever I’ve been stuck to find something, it’s worked for me, and I’ve generally saved money too! Plus, you might get a discount for buying in bulk - lol - so you can decorate a few more trees around you!

They have great prices on virtually indestructible pet toys. I like the Tuffy’s toys for my Jack Russells.
