I recently purchased ‘Tuffies’ chew toys for my dog and immediately saw that it was made in China. A friend recommended ‘Tuffies’ for their long-lasting durability. Now I’m not so sure if I should keep having my dog play with it, especially after I read that some dog toys are contaminated from Chinese lead-poisoning. Anyone know if ‘Tuffies’ are safe for man’s best friend? And man, if I were Chinese I’d be so angry about my current status!

they would have been recalled already if they were KNOWN to be contaminated. so, maybe we’re yet to discover if ‘tuffies’ are contaminated.

I buy nothing that is made in China. There are continuous reports on dangerous consumer goods coming out of China. Even if it wasn’t intentional adulterated, China has virtually no enforced environmental regulations that the entire country is virtually one big chemical dump. Leaching and direct dumping into rivers poisoned the water. Coal burning polluted the air. Eventually those contaminates wind up in various supply channels.
