Why are alot of dog toys stuffed? I mean, the dogs rip it all out eventually. Why have it filled?

Not all dogs kill stuffed toys and lots like them because it is a little pillow and has a soft texture when they play. My Lab loves soft toys as he has a soft mouth for retrieivng ducks and my Dobe kills them and only gets tuff toys.

Actually one of my dachshunds is VERY good with stuffed animals - he has a squeaking frog that he has kept intact for nearly a year now. With my help - I put it out of the reach of the other two when Quincey is through playing with it. They are holy terrors, hell on fiberfill…

Because people buy them because their cute. The dogs dont care if there cute they just see it as someting to rip up and destroy. Its all a marketing thing. People keep buying them so they keep making them.

I agree, Most of them are just for public selling…basically to put money in there pocket because the owners will buy it because it looks “cute”

I think it really depends upon the dog. Some dogs are easy on their toys, while others would tear up a brick, if given one. Our puppy was really good with her stuffed toys until she hit six mos. and we had her spayed. Since then, I think she’s lost her mind and has torn up almost every toy, stuffed or otherwise. But, we love her anyway.

i don’t get that either so that’s why i buy toys that just have nothing in them like those balls at pet-co and they don’t cost that much either
