any large dog kennel that breeds multiple breeds are not a good idea with out a very thurough investigation. Some may be clean and neat but do they employee ample people to care and socialize the dogs? Puppy mills dont have to be dirty and bad conditions to be a puppy mill. If the dog kennels have more than 5 breeds, or over 100 dogs in there facility, they need about 1 worker per 5 to 10 adult dogs. If they have a few or only run by 2 people you may potentially have some serious socialization issues with any puppy coming from there. Also behavioral issues will crop up from not being handled or not being properly exercised also. Really its your job to research the best you can to get the best dog for your money if you are going to spend alot.
