dog insurance

I have three dogs, and they are my life, my babies! I only want the best for them, but I do have a budget myself. Any suggestions would be worth while… thanks in advance!

Tesco is the best. I have a 7 year old Labrador - costs only £8 per month. Haven’t ever made a claim though but it covers virtually everything.

First of all it depends where you live (Country) I am in Australia and have dog insurance with
fantastic product. 5 weeks a go I lost my pup to cancer and the total of the vet’s bills was $6000 (Aust) I got 80% of the amount back with no excess. it covers everything from any type of accident to illness (there are always exclusions on illness regardless of who you insure with depending on the breed of animal) My new dog is a Staffie and she is not covered for red eye or retina in any eye as this is a common occurance in these types of dogs.
The cost is $13 a fortnight for the top cover type with nil excesss,
If your not in Australia then I suggest you contact your local vet or shelter who will point you in the right direction

    Good luck!!

I also have three dogs and 2 cats, I understand completely. The best I have found is just going in to a Petsmart that has a Banfield pet hospital. They have competitive prices. I pay approximately 47.00 a month and this includes free exams WHENEVER I want to bring them in. I suppose I could take them everyday for free :) But if the is a sickness and testing to be done the rates are greatly reduced. I have a great dane that had a kidney infection and after all the tests treatment and an overnight stay it cost a little under 200, which could have easily added up to over 600 elsewhere. Petsmart is a HUGE chain so there should be one near you.
