dog insurance

Hi Salt&Pepper:

Not really. A high-cost insurance would be about 50-60 per month, which would be much less than what is spent on a dog when he gets sick. Where an insect bite can actually run up to $500 and that would be just one visit.
Thanks Syxx. Have you made any claims yet. How have they been on paying, etc?

I think it would be cheaper for you to get a credit card or set money aside for emergencies. You pay more in insurance most of the time than you do for vet care itself.

I adopted a dog from the SPCA last year and they give you 6 weeks of pet insurance from Pet Secure. I did some research on them and found out that they’re one of the most reliable insurance programs in Canada.

I chose not to continue the insurance, much to my regret when my dog got attacked by another dog to the tune of almost $1000. I have it now.

They treat me great, and they’re alot less expensive than any accidents you may have.
