Umm, well you could search around on the net, or if you are braver, just go into a dog grooming shop and they will give you great advice on how to get into the dog grooming business! Good luck!
I found these books on Amazon.com. I would suggest you get a book that gives you an idea what you are doing. Perhaps there is a groomer in your area that would mentor you.
Ask a groomer local to you if you can follow her around her shop for a day or two. They might even let you do some bathing and brushing. Spend some time there to help you decide if you really want to spend all day covered in hair, smelling like a wet dog and dodging flying teeth, with your feet and back aching. It has it’s downfalls, but grooming can also be very satisfying. But make sure it is what you want to do before investing all that money and time in equipment and education.

Check with local groomers for the best school in your area. Maybe even ask if you can help out. I hire folks just to bathe dogs.
Good Luck
