How should I do to make clothes for dog.?

I have a small dog.But he is mongrel dog.
So clothes that sell in shop doesn’t fit with my dog.

My dog is so sensitive to the cold.
He shakes on winter.

I believe they sell patterns at Wal Mart and craft stores like Michaels. They have a very wide selection of stuff for your puppy…I think they even have halloween costume patterns.

course they are but some dogs are unlucky and have a very thin coat of fur. I’d recommend a sweater. I hoep you (or someone you know) can sew!

Frankly, I think outfits on dogs (aside from the occasional Halloween costume) are unnecessary and humiliating for the dog. I’ve yet to see any dog be happy about having clothes on.

What do you mean ‘fit with your dog?’ Do you mean he doesn’t like them or they don’t fit. Dogs don’t need to wear clothes, and should not be humiliated in this way and you should wake up and not fall for extremely silly trends .You should take stock and grow up

Dogs don’t need clothes, they have fur. A dog in a tweed jacket is almost cruelty in my opinion. Its a rubbish idea.

If your dog is especially small, do what someone I used to know did with her Chinese Crested (no hair at all - “my little pony” dogs). She went to “Build-a-Bear” store (where you build and dress your own bear) and she found clothes there. She had the cutest little jean mini skirt and pink t-shirt!!
Also, some of the people pattern places (McCalls, etc) are now making the patterns. Look in the crafts section. Those are adjustable as far as size goes. Not sure if it is by weight or what.
Just a couple of terms to keep in mind for measuring -
length of back is from withers (where the shoulderblades are tallest behind the neck) to the point where the hip bones stick up around the hips.
height is from the withers to the ground with the dog standing natural.
width of chest is a measurement taken around the chest (like on people) at the deepest part of the chest (where the chest is lowest to the ground).

Ask your dog what he would like to wear,and what his/her preference is on cloth cut etc,afer your dog has informed you in plain english its prefered choices hey presto you got your answer,

Would a sweater /jumper not fit? a woolly type would stretch! You can get some great ones on ebay. My dig has a GAP hoody which I bought in the US. Some of the dog clothes there are crazy!

find a good pet shop cos they do do bigger sizes…to stop him shivering make him run more…dogs have their own coats to keep em warm don;t need coats unless they are bald, and they look silly wearing clothes poor things
