does anybody know any good websites in the uk to find good dog clothes?
Actually i have chihuahua puppies, and the reason im asking is because they cant go for walks because theyre too cold. and they also refuse to go out the house without their clothes on, so the few ones they do have are getting really dirty. just because dogs have fur also does not mean they shouldnt wear coats.

Dogs don’t need clothes. They are perfectly able to keep themselves warm with the fur they have. People who dress their dogs are merely indulging their own warped fashion sense and in my opinion are all quite simple.

Dogs have hair/fur for a reason. Stupid putting clothes on a dog.

Yes. Look on Pets at home website. They have a good range dog outfits. The website under that has even more to look at and website number two is much better.

For me, the only dogs who really need ‘clothes’ - meaning a coat, in cold weather are Greyhounds, Whippets, perhaps Dachsies, and the like and there are any number of companies (with website) who make these. Try Ebay too. Otherwise nature allows a dog to grow a good coat for himself when it gets cold and it’s much cheaper!!!

Putting unnecessary clothing on dogs is completely stupid. It’s not a doll, or a child, it’s an animal. Leave it be, for gods sake. The only time you should ever need anything extra for your dog is when the weather is extremely cold, or it has no/very short fur. Nothing makes me want to kick an owner more than an animal in clothing.

Just because someone says “dog clothes” everyone jumps on them. You dont know what type of dog they have, where they live, whether they have moved from hot to cold climate etc. They asked for websites - not your opinion on “dog clothes”. Dog clothes could well be a waterproof jacket, a reflective coat for a black dog now the nights are longer or a fleece coat for a skinny shorthaired whippet.
Try they have some sensible resonably priced dog coats etc and deliver within 3 days. They do good prices on dog food too.

For a functional, lightweight, warm & cosy, water repellent, easy fit, dog coat, I would suggest considering the Equafleece polo neck dog coats. When they get dirty, you can put them in the washing machine & tumble dry. {I have been using them for years & they wear well}
