My favorite is by far a Doberman Pinscher. They are intelligent, loyal and protective. They are both great family pets as well as loyal companions. You cant go wrong if you buy a doberman from a reputable breeder.

My favorite breeds are the Alaskan Malamute, (good with kids), Greater Swiss Mountain Dog and the Bernese Mountain Dog. Which are also good with kids. I know that these are big dogs requiring lots of exercise and socialization due to their size and stubborn personality but I think that they are beautiful dogs.

Beagle! They are the sweetest dogs ever! but they do have tunnel vision when it comes to rabbit, squirrels, or anything like that. But they are definitely the best!

I am partial to hairless chinese cresteds but that is an aquired taste. People who love them love them a lot and people who are not used to seeing them think they are ugly.
They however are very loving and smart.

Labs, their are friendly and fun!! They also are VERY loyal.
