There are 3 different versions of Nintendogs out there and the on-line descriptions don’t give much detail on what breeds of dogs are available on each one. I’m trying to decide which one to buy but would like to know my dog options first.

I know theres chihuahua (srry 4 spelling) bulldog(not sure on this one)

There seems to be a lot of confusion on this. Each of the Nintendogs variants have several types of dogs that are available initially, but each version allows the acquisition of all breed types. You have to accomplish certain tasks to unlock the extra breeds, but can start with any of the listed breeds.

Dachshund and friends: mini dachshund, retriever, pug, husky, shih tzu, beagle
Chihuahua and friends: chihuahua, boxer, german sheperd, shetland sheepdog, yorkshire terrier, cavalier k c spaniel
Labrador and friends: corgi, lab, mini pinscher, mini schnauzer, shiba inu, toy poodle
You can eventually get all of them on the same one.
