dog breeds

I think pit bulls and bull terriers are huge clowns. What’s your opinion? What dog breeds are the biggest clowns?
In case your thinking I want another dog, I don’t. We live on a ranch in Texas and we already have 4 dogs, 3 cats, 2 ferrets, 9 pet cows, 2 donkeys, 2 pot bellied pigs, 3 mini goats, 2 horses, 2 kids and one on the way, a husband, a full time job, and partridge in a pear tree.

Boxers and APBTs…. hands down. All the Vizslas I’ve met were pretty danged goofy too. Young dobies are often silly, but I think the other 3 are at the top of the list.

American Pit Bull Terriers for SURE!

That’s one of the reasons that I love them so much! Goofiest dogs around!

The biggest class clowns in my opinion is the Boxer and the American Bulldog. I had both and both were a laugh a minute.

Long ago I had an Old English Sheepdog—Winston was the biggest clown of a dog!!!!! He knew he was and he acted the part!!! Such a goof–I have a picture of him standing in the dining room with a football in his mouth!! My hubby told me I could go to the pound and pick out a “little house dog”, I went with my Mom (she apparently knew about “death row”) and so—–there was an Old English–he was a clown from the get go. My other clown is my Chocolate lab–again–I went to the pound -to bail him out of jail for my friend–who then informed me he couldn’t keep him–so TJ and I left the pound-me driving–with TJ’s “arm” around my neck all the way home, him smiling and slobbering, me wondering how to explain this large puppy I just brought home!! Winston lived to be 12 years old (quite old for large dog), TJ is still my love and sitting here saying “MOM !! go to bed!!”

I would say a lab or great dane. They’re perpetually puppies, no matter how old they get!

Boxers in my opinion. They have such a care free spirit and do the darndest things. I have 3 here and they keep me laughing all day and night. Be it the happy dance they do just from you looking their way or the way the play as if they were a human child. They are hilarious.

I’m torn on this one because I’ve had both pure breeds and mutts. As far a pure breeds nothing is more of a clown than my APBT was. Thinking of all the things she did still brings a smile to my face. The mutts I’ve owned (and still do) are just as funny at times.

I think Pit Bulls are big clowns, but I think that Boxers are the Biggest clowns. They are always acting goofy, and they do this think their they fold their wiggly body in half, then swith and fold it in half on the other side when they are walking up to greet you. I think that is so cute, and it makes me laugh every time.
